Slag Recovery Plant Relocation - Poland to Finland

Description: KTC relocated a slag recovery plant from Poland to Finland in 2021. The project was challenging because the natural conditions in Finland and Poland are diametrically different. The project was built on the border of the Arctic Circle, which placed increased demands especially on steel structures. The objective of the project was to move the existing plant (supplied from Poland) to increase mining efficiency by re-engineering the overall layout and adding in new equipment.
